Since I was a kid......

I am one of the lucky ones. Ever since I was a little girl I was in LOVE with animals. When I was just a sprout, if you asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I would say something like a zookeeper or a horse breeder  or something like that. I never really wanted to be a veterinarian, I am not too fond of the blood and guts and needles and the whole "science" part of animal care. So I found myself lucky that I had the most awesomest opportunity to grow up and work at an animal shelter. I got to work at a job of my childhood dreams. Seriously. I found that my knowlege of dogs and cats increased, and my passion for rescued animals grew tremendously as the years at the shelter passed. I loved working with people to find them the "dog of their dreams" and their "cat fur baby".  Pet matchmaking was so rewarding and so fufilling it encompassed my life. I felt like I truly found my place. How many people can say that?  My days at the shelter are over and now I am starting off into my very own adventure in the same vein.  Pet matchmaking!
